Research and Development

Training and development is one of the core functions of PMA Holding. It has implemented full qualification through the learnership with 98% competency rate.  It has also trained educators on behalf of Gauteng Department of Education on broader issues including school management.  It has trained assessors, facilitators and moderators with 99% POEs returns and 98% competencies.

PMA Holding, together with other consulting firms, previously working with PALAMA on the competency training frameworks for HR practitioners and line mangers in the Public Sector.  Understanding how curriculum has been designed and created is an important skill and one that PMA brings to its work with PALAMA.  In particular it has worked on looking at gaps in the present training frameworks against registered SAQA qualifications and has suggested new unit standards to be developed by PALAMA.  The work with PALAMA has underscored PMA Holding’s ability to assess curriculum and it application in line with a competency framework.
